Things I use in an iPhone on a daily basis

  1. Undo (Famous Ctrl + Z equivalent in iPhone’s)

Simply Shake your phone simply to undo typing

  1. To put a period/dot at the end of the sentence

Double tap the space bar

  1. Take a screen shot saved as a picture
  2. If you have lots of email accounts in your iPhone
  3. Rapid Photo shots
    Just hold the camera button
  1. Add your .com in your web browsers (less typing on a small screen)
    If you use Safari
    Just by holding down the “.” in your keyboard, a menu will pop up with a list of suffixes for the internet such as .com, org, .net, .edu

Chrome has a different keyboard layout to Safari, .com comes with it, but you need more than .com like .org, .net or .edu you can hold the “.” In your keyboard, the similar menu will pop up with the list of suffixes

  1. Get to your draft emails quicker

Just hold down the new compose icon in the lower right corner and it will take you to your list of drafts

  1. SMS / text messages

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Add New Shortcuts

Warning: This can be annoying while sleeping, I am used to it as it is a bit far away

  1. If you need listen to audio when you go to bed

Play the music, open the clock application set a timer and tap “When Timer Ends” goto the end and tap “Stop Playing”. Now when your timer is up, your music/audiobook will stop
